Default The 5 Toughest Defensemen I’ve Ever Faced

Logan Couture talks about the the 5 Toughest Defensemen he has Ever Faced and mentions Mark Giordano.

"Fun fact: Giordano knocked the exact same tooth out of my mouth in back-to-back seasons. Both times were in San Jose off a face-off in the same circle. Both times, the refs didn’t even call a penalty. The second time, I went up to Gio at the end of the period and said, “Man, you got me again. Same toof"

I think he actually felt bad.

That shot by Giordano is a beauty, I tried doing but the puck would not go the same way, that is just amazing.

This, and his analysis of what makes Josi good, are the highlights of this very good article... I don't think I've seen that angle of that goal before, it's absolutely bonkers.

Fun fact: Burnzie got his first tattoo when he was 11 years old. It’s a Canadian flag with two hockey sticks going through it. And his dad took him to get it. He’s added a few more over the years, including a tattoo on his leg of Harry Potter battling a giant blue dragon. So it should be no surprise that the first word that comes to mind when I think of Burnzie is beast.
Brent Burns is my spirit animal. Amazing.

Yep, looks like they captured it from my YouTube video.

I see my clips pop up on ####ty Instagram "edits" all the time too.

Holy smokes I had no idea Burns had 75pts last season! That's damned good for a forward, let alone a defenceman. Did he play D all last season? If so, that's very impressive.

Hot damn Gio really did bend that puck around the Nashville players. Heck of a player we have.

Here's a high-res look at the Gio goal from 2 different angles:

And here's an equally beautiful goal at home vs NSH 3 year prior:

The first video definitely shows that the puck goes straight in, and not curving. Camera perception right there.

That gif is on the front page of reddit. So AC has that going for him, which is nice.
