Canucks interested in Josh Jooris and Corban Knight

Have learned 2 more ufa's the #Canucks have interest in are forwards Josh Jooris and Corban Knight.
not surprising as Jooris was found by Flames scout and Weisbrod best buddy Mike Addessa, who is now with the Canucks. Jooris' father also played for Addessa in college

Jooris is good roster filler, but I won't care too much if he moves on. We have a decent group of young players gnashing their teeth for a chance.

I like Jooris, but I am also ok if he walks. Just good, decent filler that should never really be complained about for his performance, or for being jettisoned.
I had no idea Addessa was with Van now. So difficult to keep up with all the scouting changes.

There is no room for Jooris on the roster. So I hope he finds a spot elsewhere. And filling the Canucks with our castoffs is delicious.

I have to say, Freddie Hamilton does a good job at most of Jooris' talents.
Still don't think the Flames should let Jooris go especially to a division rival. Guys who can pressure the puck defensively are the present.

They don't really have a choice - if it's between signing Jooris and letting him go to the Canucks, let him go. He's a replacement level player.

Jooris is one of those guys who only works out if he leaves it all on the ice every game because he's scared of being cut. Last year, he seemed to lose this all-out rabid energy, and you were left with a fairly average bottom-rung player who was ripe for being replaced.
A guy like Hathaway seems to have the same level of hunger...let's see if he can keep it.
While perhaps to a lesser extent, Bouma and Ferland are playing in similarly dangerous waters.

We didn't qualify Jooris so he's a UFA
Knight hasn't been a Flame for 2 seasons now
