I was watching water polo this morning (hots guys wearing nothing). The US coach inexplicably changed goalies at the half (maybe it was because of an injury, but contact with the keeper is rare, and I didn't see any.) Second half they got scorched.

Someone else created hashtag #klinsmanninaspeedo . Wish I'd thought of that.

swimming heats have started, the swimming finals start at 7pm tonight, that's really late in Brazil. We'll see if any Canadians get in.

Tough luck for mens quad sculls but they looked good before they had the issue with their oars.

Ahhh OLYMPICS!!!

I am looking forward to seeing Penny Oleksiak swim, apparently she is already breaking Canadian records! Oh and she is 6' 1" and 16 years old.

Oleksiak 2nd in her heat for 100m butterfly. 3rd fastest time in qualifying. Sets a new Canadian record and a new world junior record. I have a feeling she is a new Canadian swimming star on the rise.

Practice for years to prep for Olympic swimming then get dq'd for a false start. That's gotta be a brutal feeling.
