Jooris: $850k
Nakladal: $1 million
Ortio: $850k
That leaves $2.8 million to sign Colborne. Easy. And that's if we don't get rid of Wideman.

Sooo.... the same team as last year except with Reimer/Ortio instead of Hiller/Ramo? I don't think that will be enough for the playoffs. I also doubt Reimer signs here for $3m, more like $4m and Colborne will get at least $3m. That leaves them with no room to improve the team in other areas.
There isn't really room to give Colborne the patented Calgary Flames third liner retirement contract unless some of the other previous mistakes are jettisoned.
It's going to be annoying if we lose out on upgrading the team's top 6 just so we can keep Colborne (obviously the other overpaid guys aren't helping either). I wouldn't have an issue with him getting his $3m if Wideman, Smid, Raymond, Bouma and Stajan weren't already creating so much dead space. Enough's enough.
