man Andersson seems like a steal of a pick. Just another reason to have faith in this scouting and management team.

I really think Andersson is going to turn out to be a good pick. I think right now he's my favourite D prospect. He looked pretty good last year with the big club.

Very likely a 3rd Flames player from this list is by June 24. Would be nice to add DeBrincat as the 4th if they could use those 2nd round picks to move up a little.

Interesting.
Funny thing is that it very well could be the inverse order of where they are picked in the draft.

Pretty impressive by Rasmus. He started the season even worse than Hamilton did this year, was a complete mess. Heck of a prospect.

Do you think Andersson would be a first rounder this year and where do you think he'd go?

I haven't watched Andersson myself since the young stars tourney, but boy did he look good there.

These questions are hard to answer because he would be an overager so not apples to apples. Joulevi, Sergachev, and Chycrun could all look better next season with another year of hockey under their belt. I would imagine there's a very good chance if teams could turn back the calender that he's picked earlier in last year's draft for sure.

Yes for sure. If he was an undrafted OA, he'd probably go late first round, but if he was a first year eligible with his numbers he'd probably go right in the Bean/Fabbro range, mid 1st. Wouldn't be mad if my team took him over a Juolevi or a Chychrun either. The Oilers would probably take him at 4 if they didn't think they could trade down for him haha

Is that 'Eye of The Tiger' Rocky Thompson (former Flame) that got 2nd Team coaching honours?

I really hope Mangiapane's junior success translates to the pro's. As much as BT and Burke are working towards a 'big' team, having a few select game breaker smaller/creative/speedy/tenacious guys could be a hybrid threat very hard to defend against.

Anyone else think that it's great how our 6th rounder got more votes than 2 first rounders?

Would be sweet if he turned into a Gallagher lite 2.0

Good for Andersson. Sounds like his stock is rising and he could turn out being a solid pro.

Bread Eater is one to watch too.

Andersson is a heck of a prospect. I still can't figure out how he was left off Sweden's WJC team. Oh well, there loss.

Andersson sounds like a Defenseman's Defenseman. Does all the little things well. Versatile enough to compliment your strengths. Good partner.

By the sounds of it Andersson has some Drew Doughty like nutrition habits as a teen ager. If he can sort this stuff out when he turns pro, I have no doubt that he'll be an above average player at the next level.

This. As much as I'd hate drafting a D, I have full faith in these scouts.

Surely, even Brian Burke must be conceding that size isn't the end all and be all in the NHL anymore with all of the small talented players we have.

The speed-skill game of the Pens probably has a lot of teams rethinking their blueprints.
