Hit the Net fantasy league is looking for a few new GMs for the upcoming NHL season. We're starting year 8 of the league and have grown from a single Classic points league to now include a dynasty and roto league. The league started on CP so I'm coming back here first to find replacements.
The Classic keeper league:
- 24 teams
- 23 NHL players, 15 prospects
- Skaters gain 1 point for a goal or assist, goalie 2 for a win, +3 per shutout
- Keep 8F, 3D, 1 skater (F or D), 1 G +prospects
- Annual prospect and UFA drafts
- Prizes for the top 4 in the regular season and in the playoffs
The Roto keeper league:
- 14 teams
- 23 NHL players, 23 prospects
- Points are allocated based on the order of finish in the following categories:
- Skaters: G, A, +-, PIM, Shots, special team + game winning points, hits, blocks, giveway/takeaway Goalies: W, GAA, Sv%, Shutouts
- Keep 7F, 4D, 2 skaters (F or D), 1 G +prospects
- Annual prospect and UFA drafts
- Prizes for top 3 regular season, top 2 playoffs
For our classic points league we have 2 possibly 3 teams available. To give the new GM(s) a chance to immediately start building a team they want we combine the players from the available teams and hold a mini draft of those NHL keepers and prospects.

Prospects: Bleackley, Gaunce, Saarela, Carrier, McNeill, Rasmussen, Danault, Dauphin, Hawryluk, Aberg, Agostino, Bozon, Lemieux, Rendulic, Straka, Andrew Miller, Abelshauser, Musil, Percy, Zboril, Marchenko, Jordan Subban, Vannelli, Chris Wideman, Sparks
With 24 teams the quality is spread across the teams. This isn't just a league of collecting top 6 players who get 50+ points. It takes an eye to identify the bottom 6 players who will put up 30 points to round out the roster.

With multiple categories players who hit, block shots, and are all around players are just as important as pure goal scorers. Getting the mix right can be a challenge.
