Default Renting a camping trailer

Hivemind CP,

I've got a family reunion in Lloyd to attend over the august long and my lovely wife has informed me I should look into renting a trailer.

Given this is like 2 weeks away and it's on the long weekend, I feel as though we have a snowball's chance on a donkeys ballsack of finding anything but I thought I'd ask if anyone here has any connections/hook ups/advice.

I'm tempted to just buy a beater off kijiji then flip the damn thing afterwards.

Word,
CGY

I know Rangeland offers rentals; and I seem to recall them saying it was a 1 week minimum during the summer. When we were looking at changing our trailer I had been considering renting the model we were looking at.

this post will not really be of much help to you - but we have thought about renting a trailer; however, the thing that stops me is the fact that I have never camped in a trailer before, and my concern would be that I would waste a vacation by being a trailer rookie and making a bunch of bad choices and figuring out how things work.

Trailer or Motorhome? Trailer you will need something to pull it and it will be harder to back up than a motorhome.

But really though they are pretty simple and a lot of the new ones are almost dummy proof. No more trying to light pilot lights and all that stuff.

either - i really love the lake louise area and thought that camping in a trailer or motorhome would be a great way to spend time in the area without having to fork out $400/night for hotels.

also camping in a motor home is more appealing to me than a tent.

I did this every year for years. You're short on time, though, so you can't be too choosy.

We used Fraserway RV in Airdrie for a Class C (usually the least expensive) and it was a great experience. They have quite a large fleet so you should have a decent chance of getting something but don't leave it much longer.
