I watched in my room at my parents house. My mom is pretty superstitious, and so as a kid I picked up on that. I sat in the exact same position for nearly the entire game so I didn't jinx it. I think my leg went to sleep!
Watched the game at bar down on 11th with a bunch of friends, went crazy on the streets, then went to the airport to welcome the team home. Was an awesome night.
Just returned home after first year university so was watching the game at home. Later that summer Smith was doing a hockey school in our town and buddy of mine (wearing a Flames shirt) saw him in the bar one night and congratulated him on the goal. He was not impressed.
