2. Tkachuk will play well beside Bennett

No Edmonton in the Top 3 is my #2 priority. So even though you have an all-Canadian lineup there, this is still a 4 for me.

I think that the Oilers not in the top 3 forces them to take a Dman which they need. They really are in a can't lose position going into this draft that even the "old management" couldn't screw up.
The draft lottery has made me sad again.

Agreed. Neither Vancouver or Edmonton win, and Edmonton isn't in the top 3.
Going by the odds, we shouldn't really be expecting to draft higher than 6th.
Not great results, but not nearly as bad as it could be.

The oilers may not screw up who they select in the draft but they'll sure as heck find a way to screw up that player.
I actually still feel really good about this lottery.

Ugh...that's a 1, even if the Oilers don't get a top 3 pick. Just awful.
If it makes you feel any better, my mojo is gone too. My run today was 1) Winnipeg 2) Colorado 3) Toronto .... 7) Calgary.

This wasn't that bad. No top 3 for edmonton, and with Toronto getting Mathews we won't be bombarded with McDavid updates anymore. Flames will get a good player at 6.

Hating the Leafs gives them way more legitimacy than they deserve. I have them right there with Columbus and Carolina with teams that I care or worry about. I get that we will have to hear about it through the Leafs-centric media, but that is the case no matter what happens.
Keep Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg from Matthews (or better yet, the top 3), and I consider that a victory.

Nylander or McLeod over Tkchuk but that's just preference. Voted a 3. Can ice with Matthews being in the East, don't care if it is with the Leafs. Do not like seeing Laine in VAN, but then again thats about their only legit elite threat. So meh, better than the Oilers getting one of the 3.
Jets getting Puljujarvi makes me sad because their prospect depth is bonkers.
