NHL shuts down Stephanie Vail (@myregularface) - Update: Should be back tonight
Mark Scheig @THWMark Breaking: I can confirm that the NHL is now not allowing anyone to post gifs. Huge news given playoffs are about to start.

I do believe this explains why Steph (myregularface) is off Twitter. The NHL told her she's no longer allowed to post gifs.

Friedman suggested over the weekend that her absence wasn't a negative. This would suggest he was mistaken. Bad move by the NHL if true.

The rumour that the NHL would shut down Stephanie would be interesting given she actually worked for/contracted to teams. She was officially affiliated with the Oilers, among others, this season.

I don't get it, GIFs gets people sharing and tweeting. No reason the NHL would want to shutter this. I blame MLB Advanced Media. Those guys copyright everything.
