Official Heckle XIII 2016 Sign up Thread - April 23rd
Started a new thread as I was unable to change the title of the first one. Who wants to play in this annual event.

The Heckle - Once a year a hockey team formed through Cp and a team formed through Oilfans meet somewhere between Calgary and Edmonton to play our own Battle of Alberta.
Another loss last year the current records are CalgaryPuck: 5-5-1, OilFans: 6-4-1
Heckle is going to be held March 1, 2014 at 1:30pm to 3:00pm at the ENMAX Centrium in Red Deer.
We aren't sure what the total cost is just yet but it's usually $10-20.
Post Game Meet up is TBD
As usual, veterans get the first spots and rookies will be placed on a waiting list. Yes, rookies do get in the game every year. Rookies, please post if this is your first Heckle.
We field a full team of 18 skaters and 2 goalies max. Post a reply to this thread to be added to the roster.
Full equipment is recommended, but not required.
CalgaryPuck always wears red.
Ice time was hard to come by for February and March(Centrium in red deer had zero availbility for a Saturday. Hence after coordinating with the oilfans side, I have secured/booked a date for the friendly annual game.

I can't play hockey anymore due to a concussion, but if you want someone to wear the stripes and give the CP guys favourable calls I'd be in.

It's not a big deal and not sure if it qualifies for anything, but I showed up for the last 10 minutes of a game one year lol. Normally a center, but can play anywhere but goal.
