One of stats guys can figure out the math, but I believe statistically we are far more likely to move out of the 5th spot than we are to stay there.

1st: 8.5%
2nd: 8.8%
3rd: 9.0%

7th: 25.5%
8th: 3.5%
9th: Considerable chance*.

people are more down on this one than I was.
With the Oilers and Canucks out of the top six, and Calgary at 6th not 7th I don't mind it at all.

Anywho, I don't mind this result. I don't hate Columbus and I quite like the Leafs. Not bad!

Columbus is my go-to choice for "where do you want the best player in the draft to go if not to Calgary." A small market team with good fans from that's not in our conference.
