Flames recall Oliver Kylington, Pat Sieloff, and Turner Elson on emergency basis
update:
Calgary Flames @NHLFlames
The #Flames have recalled Turner Elson, Oliver Kylington, & Pat Sieloff from the @AHLHeat ~
His agent tweeted this:
Doesn't mean a defenceman is injured and necessitating an emergency recall. Flames could be using their last regular recall.

Yeah I saw a weird post on HF from a Swedish poster asking about making his NHL debut tomorrow.
Give him a taste I guess. I'm kind of surprised they would do it with his recent concussion and his relatively short minor league experience.
But another part of me is fine with us playing our most inexperienced guys in a game we don't really mind if we lose.

Makes sense if Nakladal and Engelland can't go.
Could actually see him, Wotherspoon, & Kulak all in the lineup.
Two as injury replacements, and the other as the last regular recall.

I think Kylington isn't as far off as most people assumed at the draft. I thought his defensive game needed a tonne of work, but it really isn't bad - it is actually really remarkable given his age. Tough for me to guess at when he will be NHL ready, but holy cow has he been impressive given his age.

Will be great to see him in the big show.

I recall reading that the Flames attributed his defensive shortcomings more to physical weakness than to poor decision making.
