Default Radovan Karadzic sentence

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/25/wo...dict.html?_r=0

It took a long time, I had forgot it was even still going on TBH.

Quote:
Radovan Karadzic, the former Bosnian Serb leader, was convicted of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity, by a United Nations tribunal on Thursday for leading a campaign of terror against civilians that included the slaughter of 8,000 Bosnian Muslims at Srebrenica in 1995 and the nearly four-year siege of Sarajevo.

Mr. Karadzic, 70, was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Should have been a slow death cause by infections from 1000 paper cuts. One of the biggest monsters in history.

I know many people from Sarajevo and the surrounding area who told me about the siege. Simply staggering what those people went through thanks to this man's ambition and twisted views.

Hard to believe something like Srebrenica could actually happen in Europe outside of WWII

Bihac was extremely close to having a similar fate as well, but fortunately the tide of the war changed just in time.
