Jordan Staal just speared Rust right in the groin, kind of an ugly play if you ask me. I bet he gets fined.

David Jones as the only Wild player who is a + in the game tonight. 2 are at 0 and the rest are on -1 to -3.

The Predators win 4-2 and the Central Division has become a four way dog pile.
The Lightning lead the Stars 3-2 in the third period.

The Red Wings win a crucial game as they stop their two game losing streak, 3-1 over the BJs.
Stamkos has two goals as the Lightning had the lead to start the third period. The Stars score two goals in two minutes and now have a 4-3 lead.

It is 1-1 in the Rangers-Kings game. JT Miller with an awesome wrist shot to get the Rangers on the board and 19 seconds later Brown ties it up. Great game so far.

Klingberg, Jordie Benn, Demers are all hurt for Dallas.
Crappy OOT day for the Flyers with Detroit and Pittsburgh pulling out victories, but they were playing bottom feeders so that was to be expected. I still like the Flyers chances in the long run the way they are playing.
Luke Schenn meanwhile is looking alright in LA. LA does have a tendency to turn ex-Flyers into Stanley Cup champs

It was a mini flashback to the 2014 Stanley Cup in the Rangers-Kings game. The Kings defeat the Rangers in overtime. Lundqvist relived his nightmare by playing well and keeping his team in it with great saves. The same result happened, a heartbreaking goal by Kopitar's deflection. The Kings were down 3-1 early in the third period and they came back. Kopitar with the game tying and winning goals and Darryl Sutter smiles.

The Coyotes with a surprise win, 3-1 over the Sharks. Doan scores the winning goal with 91 seconds left in regulation time and then Vermette scores an empty net goal. Mike Smith was in net for the Coyotes.

The good news for the Flyers is that the Lightning and Islanders both lost in regulation time. The Flyers are only six points back of both teams.

And King Henrik, Vigneault and Stepan absolutely ripped the refs on the tying goal. Tiffoli is in the crease, preventing Lundquist from making a save and the ref felt McDonagh was stopping him from getting out of the way. Reeeeeeeaaalllly iffy about that explanation

You're right, that should've been no goal. The ref was out to lunch there. Surprising that Lundqvist didn't slam and break his stick somewhere after they lost.
