FS: 75" Samsung Smart LEDTV UNH6350 *SOLD*
Looking for it to be picked up this weekend
Bought Nov 2014 from Costco. Comes with 5 year Costco warranty. Warranty is transferable and I have the receipt.
Works perfect, selling because I dont watch TV anymore and I'm never home anyways. Its been sitting here for the past 6 months. The TV has very low usage, used anywhere from 0-3 hours a week. It hasnt even been turned on for the past 4 months.
$2300OBO. Reasonable offers welcomed.
I no longer have the box, so you must be able to take the TV as is. Its currently on a TV stand. You need a truck due to the size.

Wait you changed price from $1700.00 to $2300 obo because your kijiji post was generating more interest?

No I changed the price because sometimes OBO ads will garner more interest than firm ones.

Then change it to $1700.00 OBO or just sell it on Kijiji. Seems pretty shady to increase the price to try and get more interest.

Honest question,
Why is it when someone says OBO it has to be lower and if it's higher it's frowned upon?
We're okay with sellers getting less than ask, but if they get more than ask it's "shady"?
I'm honestly curious here, or was it that he changed it to 2300 from 1700 that it's shady to come outright and ask for more after getting too many offers at a lower price point?

Hopefully members here don't get caught up in this shady deal.

Because it is against the rules to run auction style postings. If you are getting so much interest higher than 1700 just sell it. Don't try and re do the price to drive it up even higher. If you want an auction post it on eBay or have the Kijiji folks keep bidding the price up. If you have so many "offers on the table" just take one and be done with it.

Fair enough. Honestly at first I thought the issue was that he got higher offers, but that totally makes sense.

This is correct. OP- you originally had it at $1800 firm, then $1700 firm. If you have received an offer at $1700 or higher, you cannot open it up to bidding if you suddenly realize you priced it too low.
You must follow the rules to be allowed to post in the Buy & Sell.

Buyer beware.
This is the same guy who I tried buying a Macbok from.
We agreed on a price and when I was ready to pick up, he told me he sold it to someone else instead.
He has it listed on Kijiji as well and even if you agree on a price, he'll just sell it to someone else if they offer more.

I am pretty sure that no one reading this thread is going to be buying this TV anymore.
