Rinaldo? Sweeney gave up a 3rd for him. I guess BT gave up a 3rd for Bollig. Wish Bollig would go on waivers too.
Lots of ex-Flames on that list. Berra, Bourque, Cracknell and Pardy lol.

Seems like TO did not have a lot of faith in Stalock.
And how come Bonavista, Newfoundland just got waived.
2nd and 3rd round picks used to acquire Berra and Rinaldo seem like assets well spent. Should BT take a flyer on Berra, or what is his contract?

I hope not. He's a familiar name and a guy with NHL experience, but hasn't shown promise of being a legit starter. Not an upgrade on Hiller IMO

Its quite amazing - a few months ago Berra strung together a series of strong performances and there were some media anointing him a steal of a trade for the Avalanche.
Now he is on the waiver wire.

Unless Hiller is dumped on waivers and assigned to the AHL also, no interest from me in having 3 goalies again.

Berra for a 2nd round pick was one of the best trades in Flames history.

Easy there. That pick was used on Hunter Smith who is still a long shot to even have an NHL career.

If Hiller can get moved today I wouldn't be surprised if the Flames grabbed Stalock.

All players must be on their respective AHL rosters tomorrow by 3PM to be eligible for the AHL playoffs. That's why waiver wire is full.

Pretty amazing Butke got a 2nd for Berra and nothing for Cammy. That was a strange deadline. The Avs must have really wanted Berra.

Who we picked is irrelevant. Name a few better trades. We took a goalie who is wildly inconsistent and turned him into a second round pick.
