Blue Jackets 3-0 up over the Devils. Got to give them praise, even with Torts. They don't take, even when conventional wisdom would probably tell them thats the best course of action. I mean, they'd be far better off long term tanking and giving themselves the best chance at drafting Matthews. But fair play to them, they look like they are on the rise at the moment.

Leafs 1-0, wouldn't count on that lasting though.

I don't agree with the "far better off to tank" line.

It may have been the case 20 years ago, but it's as important that young players understand that winning is the goal and losing is unacceptable.

Otherwise you can have all the talent in the world, but waste it away.

The Flyers lead 2-1 in the second period. Gagner scored in the first period for the Flyers. Vanek tied it up and then Streit scored, both on the power play.

It is 1-1 after twenty minutes in the dogs vs cats game. Doan and Trocheck with the goals.

Rinne has been friggin' amazing so far in the game at the UC...still scoreless, could easily have been 3-0 'Hawks/

Granlund ties it for the Wild, 2-2.

Anybody with Shaw Cable getting the Predators-Blackhawks game on Centre Ice?

Barkov returns to the lineup tonight for the Panthers and immediately has an impact scoring a go ahead power play goal to make it 2-1 for Florida.

Domingue has been incredible tonight for the 'yotes.

That Devils team is terrible without Cammy.

Two thefts to end the Wild game - Granlund has wide open net and Macdonald somehow chops down the shot into Neuvirth's leg (worth watching on replay if anyone can find it - it was during the late 3rd pp), and then steals one with the stick from Coyle with two seconds left. Minnesota guys thought it was in (hardly suprising) but Philly tv crew didn't show any convincing replays. Good game, but looks like the Wild are going to miss the playoffs. No consistency from them this year.

Haha. Leafs go up 3-1 late in the 3rd and look to put the Oilers into sole possession of last in the league. AND the Leafs have games in hand on them.

The Oilers are not very good it would appear.

Domingue hurt in the Panthers Coyotes game. He's been nothing short of spectacular tonight. Despite the low shot total for the Panthers, almost every shot has been very high quality.

He's staying in for now, but with Mike Smith already out, a Domingue injury would likely seal the fate for the Coyotes playoff chances.

That is, unless they want Jonas Hiller.

Panthers hold on to win 3-2 over the 'Yotes. Arizona shows poor sportsmanship by mixing it up with the Panthers players after the final horn without provocation.

Come on then, lets do a sweepstake as to how many goals the Kings will rack up tonight?
