I think number 4 on that site describes emo well. Man I dislike those people... "oh life is so terrible, let's go listen to depressing terrible punk rock, scribble suicidal things in our journals and cut ourselves to replace our deep emotional pain with that of physical. Ohh boo hoo".. Get a job and wash your hair (AND that make-up off).

I have a friend who wears this crap. He has a Nintendo controller necklace that he made by himself that he wears every day.

Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle. ::sniff sniff:: "The Demise of the Siberian Traintracks of Our Rusty Forgotten Unblemished Love" sounds like it would make a great emo band name. ::cry::

After reading that I'm actually feeling angry and want to kill those people. I hate people like that!!! I never knew there was a name or a widely accepted dislike of them

I listen to EMO.. I have chuck taylors.. but I don't cut myself and my hair is relatively short and brown, though I have dyed it black before.. That was for halloween and then again because I like how it looks when it fades out

i don't know if these products are directed at emo's because i don't know many who would want to be associated with gaming.
i think as a gamer, i would definately want to wear the nes one, but i'd get my ass kicked.

I am as anti-EMO as they come, and I would wear the Nintendo one... that joystick one is horrible.
I always thought that the WWE should come out with replica belt buckles of their titles... Kinda like those belts you find at Toys R Us, but smaller... and on a belt. Million dollar idea shared with you all.
I sit at a desk all day... I'm sure the Nintendo controler would hurt my belly.

No. If more than 100 people have heard of a particular band they are no longer cool.

Not even close.
The only definition worth anything on that urban dictionary site is #8.
Emo is NOT Dashboard Confessional. Emo is NOT Taking Back Sunday
Emo is Rites of Spring. Emo is Small Brown Bike. Emo is old Hot Water Music.

Elliot Smith is often called emo.
But then again, the kids today have hijacked the term. "Emo" used to be something totally different.
