i love this so much, i usually think the thought process for these guys is something like "i'm going to the flames game? i have a hockey shirt! i'll wear my hockey shirt! that way everyone will know how much i like hockey!"
These transgressors should be hauled out back and given a blindfold and a cigarette and what happens after that...well, we're not responsible for that.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Not to mention the broadcast team being the best in the league and the team itself being super entertaining and the fans not being obnoxious and everyone heaping praise on Jim Nill, I think the Dallas Stars might objectively be the best organization in the league.

I was at that game, it was hilarious when they put it up on the board.
It was like the captain oblivious one they do at the dome, had it running till the guy saw himself
Doesn't the Dallas Stars Jumbotron guy already do this on a regular basis?
Its like what happened with Twitter. The LA Kings twitter guy became famous, and every other team began to copy it. Same is happening now that the Stars' jumbotron guy is famous.

Meh...I wear my 'Hawks' or my Bears' jersey to any sporting event I go to. And no matter where I am "Detroit Sucks!".
True, yet funny story...one of my sons (yes, I KNOW I am a failure as a father!) is a Packer fan. Living in Utah, the Broncos are the closest NFL team, so I bought a couple of tickets to a Pack/Bronco MNF game (the one where Favre threw a TD the FIRST offensive snap of OT). Walking to Mile High from the hotel, the fans in Packer gear IMMEDIATELY recognized my classic Gale Sayers jersey, however, I was asked by MORE THAN ONE Bronco fan, If my Jersey was a NEW ALTERNATE DENVER jersey!
