good read - also Ferland had a dandy move to the net that if it had been done by Connor McDavid would be on every highlight reel around the league

Great read, as always.

Hudler seems to be back. Whether it was injuries, attitude, or some combination of both, he seems to have put them behind him.
With 6 pts in his last 6 games, and 8 in 9, he is definitely re-inflating his trade deadline value.
And it's not just the points, he has more jump and has been much more involved in the play. Excellent news for the Flames.

What is it about Vancouver that brings out the best in Micheal Ferland? His first period included a great scoring chance, he hit both Sedins then as an answer he had Sbisa come after him for a scrap, which resulted in a decision for the Flame’s player. I don’t think I’ll miss the goon on goon scrap now that it’s vacated the NHL, but a good bout for a guy hitting your players is fun, especially if said physical player is ready and able to answer the bell.
Two fights this year for Ferland, all against the Canucks. He won both (100% over at
Hockey Fights ) but I'm bit surprised that he's fighting after a concussion.

He's kind of reminding me of the Joey Mullen situation. Former Lady Bing winner who we got a second for but he went on to have a few more good years.

Strong write up Bingo!
Was a very fun game to watch. I know people have been harping on Ferland lately but I've absolutely loved the way his game is developing. Hopefully as he starts showing more confidence his offensive game will get more consistent.
And hey! Don't look now, but they've won 2 of 3 since the break!

I don't often comment, but I've read every game take since I started coming here. Thanks!
