Default Affordable Acupuncture Services in Calgary

hello,

I am convincing some friends about the benefits of acupuncture. I am looking for a place that performs acupuncture, in order to quit smoking, temptations (drinking, addictions, etc), and treatment of mental health (depression, anxiety, etc).

I'm pretty sure there are colleges and some clinics that provide reasonable rates. When I was in Winnipeg, they had a local clinic do this for free of charge once per week. I was seeing if anyone on the forum has had acupuncture done, and where to have it performed relatively inexpensive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a friend who does it, but the clinic is close to Mount Royal University. She's very knowledgeable and continues her education regularly. I'm not sure about affordability.

Buy this book:

A foam roller: https://www.sportchek.ca/categories/...331665921.html

A Thericane:

And a knobble:

Seriously, the book will teach you how to hit the same areas as acupuncture does for free and you can do it whenever you need it.

Edit: just reread your reasons for accupuncture, if you want to treat depression and mental issues, I think a shrink would be the best place to start. I use acupuncture/trigger point therapy only for overactive muscle areas ( that's my way of describing it, I'm not sure of the actual term)

For depression, try the Wim Hof breathing exercise for a few days. Totally free and it works wonders: http://highexistence.com/the-wim-hof...immune-system/
I have a positive mood all day every time I do this, I can knock down a cold too with this!
