Well, if my chips get injured in a crash, I'm not too worried about their ability to work and earn a living in the future.
I know I'm not the target audience for this service at all, but there are a lot of times I've wanted something from 7-11 and haven't felt like going out. More than once, I've jokingly said that I wished they delivered.

There already have been companies like this in Calgary and not a single one survived.

Yeah strange rates.
15km from downtown basically covers all of Calgary right? So basically $10 + cost of whatever you want for delivery anywhere you want in Calgary?

"If Pickup and Delivery are both within Macleod - 14th street SW and 1st avenue SW-17 avenue SW, 3$ flat fee applies!"
Well this seems like a money losing venture.

I feel like just a bit of basic math would show him that this can't survive. You're going to pick me up something then drive to the deep south, then drive back downtown for $10? I don't even see how the hourly rate can offset the cost of gas let alone make money.

I assume that since theyre picking this food up from convenience stores that they plan to make money the same way convenience stores do: insane markup and cigarettes.

I don't think he's marking up product, the delivery fee is all he's getting.

Yeah, it's kind of a double whammy. It's extremely expensive for 90% of Calgarians to pay $10 to have some snacks delivered when everyone has a convenience store within 5 minutes of their house AND it's not enough for him to do it.
