Well, had to happen at some point. Couldn't ride him the rest of the entire season.
I hope to god Hiller is at least decent, otherwise it could be a very long night.

It'll be good for Ramo to get some rest.
Hiller should be chomping at the bit to get back in the crease. I expect a good showing from him tonight.

Wonder if this is related to what Hrudey was talking about, Ramo asking him for advice on dehydration.

Wouldn't be surprised, last year he was always better after coming off a long break where Ramo had the net.

It might not happen, but it could well happen that Hiller succeeds with a second chance, just like Ramo did.

If we don't make the playoffs. It being due to goaltending is the best reason for it that I can think of.

He did take a puck to the neck in practice. Might be feeling some effects from that injury.

I hope he is OK, for a world class elite athlete to suffer from stuff like this can be extremely serious.
Hopefully its not an underlying health condition.

I hope to God Hiller plays at least decent. How bad will it look on him if he craps the bed? His next couple starts could very well might determine if he even gets a NHL contract next season. Millions of dollars riding on his next couple performances and I'm sure there will be a ton of pressure on him.
Best case scenario: Hiller plays decent, puts of good numbers and the team plays well in front of him and everyone is happy. Ramo gets the rest he deserves and isn't forced to play b2b games any longer.
Worst case scenario: Hiller plays like Sept Hiller and Hartley has no choice to but to run Ramo to the ground if we want to have any hope of making the playoffs.
