It was 1-1 in the Red Wings-Islanders game after one period. Detroit scored two goals in 71 seconds midway through the second period, 3-1 now.

The Bruins lead 2-1 in the second period, all three goals have been on the power play.

It remains scoreless in the Coyotes-Wild game late in the second period. Domingue has been outstanding in net for the Coyotes as the Wild lead 23-6 in shots!

Domingue also stole the show in Minnesota. The Wild pounded him with 35 shots (Rask faced 36 shots) and had 1-0 lead until a puck miscue by Dubnyk led to the Coyotes tying the game with a shorthanded goal by Vermette. Arizona wins 2-1 in the shootout.

It was the Derrick Brassard show in the Rangers 6-3 win over the Sabres. He had 5 points (2G, 3A). The Sabres put up a good fight as they were down 3-1 early in the 3rd period and came back to tie it at 3-3. Nice assists by Eichel to tie the game up. The Rangers took control scoring 3 straight goals to take the win. The Habs just keep on sinking as they lose 5-2 to the BJs. It's unreal how they are in a deep rut. The Red Wings take care of business as they beat the Islanders 4-2. Mrazek has been excellent in net for the Red Wings going 7-1-1 this month. The Bruins win 3-2 in reg time over the Flyers, great goaltending for both teams. The Coyotes squeak out a win in the SO over the Wild. Bonehead play by Dubnyk behind his net to allow the Coyotes to tie with a SHG. The guy's going to have nightmares. Great goaltending by Domingue, he robbed the Wild from winning this game.
