Jones had a tough night with Columbus. On the ice for 2 of the 4 goals against, 1st being on the PP and the 2nd where he got caught as the last man back on a 2-on-1. He not only made a poor flop to stop the pass across the zone, but then failed to spot the puck in time, allowing the Carolina player to bat in the rebound.
This is what player for a garbage team will do, expose him to these sorts of situations. See if he sinks or swims without Weber, Josi, Ellis and Ekholm to protect him.
