Step right up and see the 10 year old museum piece from the depths of my home office.
It's not shiny, it's not new, but the damn thing still runs like a champ... on 2009 era software. Might be good for the kids, or a media server? It still runs, I have a hard time sending a working mac to electronics recycling.
The original factory specs can be viewed on
Everymac.com, so I'm just going to list the specifics below.
Upgrades:
- 500gb "hybrid" drive. It's a spinning disk drive, with 4gb of temp memory that caches your most used files/applications for faster load times.
- 3gb Ram
- Fresh install of Mac OS X Snow Leopard (version 10.6)
Cons:
- It's VERY worn/beat up. Multiple dings, and wear.
-
NO BATTERY. (I believe
this is a suitable replacement)
- Did I mention there's no battery?
- The "p" key on the keyboard is flakey at best. 60% of the time it works every time.
-
1/2 of a Nine Inch Nails sticker, that's an upgrade son
- CD drive is kinda warped and occasionally disk get stuck
- NO BATTERY INCLUDED
Sold 'as is', looking for $100 or reasonable cash offers. Or even a decent bottle of bourbon in trade.
