It is a busy Monday OOT just before Christmas.


It is basically regional night on Sportsnet, but there is a twist.

Pacific across Canada.

It is a national game.


The game is also on in french

Jets at Oilers
Edmonton leads 2-0 after one period.

Leafs at Avalanche
Toronto leads after one period.

Habs at Predators
Nashville leads 2-0 after two periods.

Final scores

The Islanders defeat the Ducks 5-2 on Long Island.

The Penguins at home get their first win with their new head coach, 5-2 over the BJs.

The Flyers at home win 4-3 in regulation over the Blues.

The Capitals win on the road again, 2-1 in regulation over the Hurricanes.

STL was up 3-0 vs Philly, and Philly scores 4 straight to win!

Minnesota was also up 2-0 and Dallas is up 3-2 now heading into the 3rd.

A lot of people thought that Montreal without Carey price was a poor poor team, turns out they're correct.

Ducks losing is the main thing...The Oilers getting outplayed badly and squeaking out a win is no biggie

Total domination by the Jets over the Oilers. They must have not let the Oilers touch the puck for 5 minutes straight yet somehow they are losing 3-1.

Wow I don't know what system that Oiler fans are bragging about, but apparently its all about laziness in their own end, playing terribly in the neutral zone and praying that their goalies bail them out.

Look like world beaters for a stretch and then get blown out by a terrible team like the Leafs,
