I'm sure to the be SureLossed but Semin has been waived from his 1 year $1.1M contract with the Habs.
He has one goal and 3 assists in 15 games.

For that cap hit, he's bound to be picked up. If we do decide to pick him up, not saying we should, we have waiver priority due to our 30th place standing.
This guy was a beast back in the day, what happened?

After only one goal in 15GP, it looks like Semin... has gone down the drain.
On the plus side, he'd be a decent fantasy player if he could get some points going again. He gets some decent PIM for a player of his ilk... It would appear that Semin spends some decent amount of time in the box.
Ok, I'm all tapped out of jokes for now.

Not sure we want to be on the receiving end of wherever that Semin is flushed to.
Does he have the drive to turn it around and be a complete player? Not like he was coming from a bad situation.. So it makes one very skeptical.
