I feel inspired by TheycallmeBruce, and Maritimer.
So...what do you want to know about Manitoba, and growing up there?

Why is it that everytime I get mad at another driver for pulling some bonehead move on the road that vehichle has Manitoba plates on it? Are these really Manitobans, or people from Saskatchewan in disguise?

I know this one!
It's because there are no merge lanes in urban Manitoba so no one from there know how to do it.
But seriously, what's the deal with calling jelly doughnuts "Jambusters"?

What do you do for fun in Manitoba.... what's there, i haven't ever been....
.....also, since everyone is starting up one of these threads "I am ____ ask me anything" threads, should I start one titled "i'm a girl, ask me anything?" or "I'm from Ottawa, ONT, ask me anything?"

Umm, that'd get ugly quick.
Besides, our wives/girlfriends tell us all that we need to know.

You clearly made a typo there.
They tell you what they want you to know.

You could get some truly interesting questions on a "I'm a girl, ask me anything!" thread.

No, the year I lived there I had a great time and if the right job opportunity came I would go back. I probably would have stayed had I not got a job at here back home(big mistake).
There's also more cities in Manitoba than just Winnipeg and Brandon that I would call way boring. Hell, I was born in one (Thompson) since the town I spent the first 12 years of my life didnt have a hospital but was 40 minutes away.

Depends what you like I guess. If you're into things like fishing and camping then Northern Manitoba is great. I've met tons of Americans who come up here for fishing and we have one of the clearest lakes in the world. The former Governor of Alabama who is also a former Montreal Alouette has a cabin and spends his summers there.
I personally dont mind living in Manitoba though to get the kind of job I want I'll have to eventually move.

Has Manitoba ever got this much attention before?
An entire thread seems like a big step for Manitoba.
