interesting move, but understandable. Probably want Arnold to have a few more reps

Hopefully he stays this time. He never should have been sent down in the first place.

So Bollig and Raymond can both sit? Is he going to play 4th line with Ferland and Jooris?

Yes, but Stockton is fairly close to Phoenix and right next door to San Jose, if they need another defenceman in the next 2 games.

What a pleasant surprise. Glad Granlund has been called back up. I wonder if Hartley is going to let him rot in the press box for a month.

Would like to see him on the top line right wing spot for one game. Would be interesting to see what he can do with that shot

Not sure how he's been playing in Stockton but I seen he was leading scorer so hopefully he can transition that to some NHL success. I like Granlund and hope he starts solidifying his spot a bit more when he does get these chances.

I'm so excited by this bold move! Personally I wish they had brought up someone different... Agostino, Arnold.... Hope I'm wrong but I think Granlund has peaked... Nothing that he can really offer.... Just my opinion... ready to get blasted by others for this

Wasn't Granlund's faceoff % not very good?

Yea? What's the problem?

Do you think Bollig or Raymond deserve to be in Calgary more than Granlund? Even Jooris is questionable at this point.

I see Raymond and Bollig getting lots of hate, but think that Jooris should be coming out of the lineup too.

Has been bad this year, and I probably would have had him out of the lineup already.

I really hope Jooris is the guy he's been replacing. The guy skates hard but there's not really a lot to like about his game and he's the player responsible for the winning goal in Anaheim which was simply a stupid play on the penalty kill. Playing dumb should not be rewarded when the team is struggling.

I agree with you. His style and size are suited to top 6 but he hasn't shown that he's top 6. He's just kind of "meh" all around. Not really that fast, not really that big, not really that strong (ie. faceoffs), has a decent shot, smart but not off the charts IQ, decent playmaking skills but nothing great. Never understood what people see in him or why he should be on the team. If he is going to play bottom six I'd way rather have Arnold up in that role, or Jooris who is more suited to it (though has been struggling).

Then again I'd rather have Granlund playing than Raymond.

I hope he proves me wrong and busts out as a top six player but at this point I am not holding my breath.

I've been hearing about how good his shot is for years now, but haven't really seen him use it at the NHL level. If Raymond can go from scratch to 1st line, then I really hope Granlund gets a good look in the top 6 and not just for a period.

But knowing Hartley, he'll be in the press box most of the time and when he does play, he'll get his 8 minutes.
