It's about time. They've been telling me it was "Opening Soon" for years now.

EDIT: NVM, I was thinking a Service Center.

Now that Notley is making me spend another $470, I'll be buying one for sure.

Just in time for the NDP environmental budget...

Thanks Telsa, but I'm not going to change my way of life.

I'm sure there's a massive market for $100G cars right now

We stopped there after ouch today, the car is super cool - but way out of my price range and the sales guy could not really provide me with a good reason to select this vehicle over a train.

Not surprisingly, the store was loaded with lookie Lou's. As for service, the consultant told me that most of the car issues are software related, which can be fixed over the phone, but they will send a tech if you live within an 80km radius from the store

I'm sure buying a train isn't any cheaper.

Have you tried turning it off and then back on again?

Wait, did the NDP include a rebate/discount on EV cars (or LED bulbs) in their shenanigans yesterday?

There could be serious issues. My girlfriend's parents own a Chevy Volt. They have serious issues with the colder weather in Vancouver. The car has to spend a sizeable amount of its battery life to heat the inside, and even then its quite drafty.

I'd honestly wait to see these road tested in Calgary before buying.

I live in Regina (now) and I saw one of the Model S here last winter. Thing took off like a rocket without a sound. Didn't seem to have a problem running in the snow and (very) cold. Probably kept inside though it was showroom clean on a freezing cold day.

The range is the only downside in cold climates.

No issues in the winter. Have a friend with a Roadster and a Model S. He's had the Roadster for 4 years and he had Model S for 1, which he sold because he ordered the all wheel drive version which he gets in a couple of months. He's never had an issue in the winter the roadster or the model S. There are 75 Model S owners in Alberta right now. Another friend in Canmore got his new model S delivered 4 weeks ago. He's loving it.

It certainly helps when you don't have to pay the 100% sales tax on new vehicles and benefits like being able to drive in bus lanes, free tolls and public parking that Norway gives to EV buyers.

Well, bonus money aside I was thinking more in the context of dealing with the cold. But yeah, would be nice if the NDP helped out with that/something.
