Nov. 7th, 11 games.
I'll let someone else fill out the matches for the day, but Buffalo just scored a goal in the last 20 seconds of the 3rd to win over the Canucks after surrendering a 2 goal lead. Pretty nice goal too. Watch Ennis on this play.
Buffalo 3-Vancouver 2
All times Eastern.
Panthers @ Kings, 4 pm
Boston @ Montreal, 7 pm
Toronto @ Washington, 7 pm
Ottawa @ Carolina, 7 pm
Philadelphia @ Winnipeg, 7 pm
St. Louis @ Nashville, 8 pm
Tampa Bay @ Minnesota, 8 pm
New York Rangers @ Arizona, 9 pm
Anaheim @ San Jose, 10:30 pm

So what's up with Horvat (the second coming of Monahan) ?
Sophomore slump time?

Nick Bjugstad with a wicked wrist shot beating Quick to make it 1-0 for the Panthers late in the 1st. Panthers were outshot 10-5 in that period too.

Kings are schooling the Panthers. It's only 1-1 but the shots are 23 to 7 partway through the 2nd.
Luongo has been incredible.
Doughty finally squeaks one past Luongo on the PP. 2-1 Kings. Panthers look exhausted.

Jesus...Kings are relentless. Just ran over the Panthers D to score another. 3-1 Kings. Looking like the championship form of themselves again. Shots are 29-7 with 2 minutes left in the 2nd.

I am going to 95 years old, on my death bed, and Cam Ward will somehow still be the goalie for the Carolina Hurricane.

Ryan O'Reilly was the best player in the BUF - VAN game, IMO...his stats are strong thus far too...looks to be having a solid year.

Did Grapes just say Mickey Renaud died at 17 and would have been a first rounder for sure? I wasn't paying full attention but it sounded like it.

Poor Monohan also had to play with Baertschi in the early part of his career. Unlike Horvat, he helped Baertschi produce some pretty solid offensive totals.
In truth, Horvat is just not nearly as good.

Yes he did.
He was particularly bad tonight in his weird yellowed tux, ranting about how the Flyers intentionally injured McDavid the other night.

Because, you know, Cherry played. If you have never played the game, then you have no idea how players think, and are in no position to accurately understand how they react to make split-second decisions like that.
ANYONE who has ever played the game KNOWS that there was intent.

Yeah and he called everyone who don't see it "dummies" more than once. So I guess that means everyone but himself is a dummy.
He dissected the clip in slo-mo like it was the Zapruder film and then hinted at some sort of conspiracy to cover it all up.
The magic bullet this time managed to protect a couple of middling defensemen on a crappy team, at the expense of the most hyped player in the league. So weird!

They're talking about increasing the size of the nets on the second intermission of HNIC after Babcock suggested it.
Can you imagine how many goals the Flames would be allowing if this was implemented this season??! They showed a graphic of the number of shots which hit the post last year and assuming those go in with the increased net size, it would have boosted the GPG to 6.43 GPG last year compared to around 5 which is what it was last year.
