Stephen Gionta got kicked out of the game with a 5-min spearing major to the grobs of Borowiecki in the Ott-NJ game. Suspension possible. Borowiecki had cross-checked him first.

Chris Neil with 1G 1A so far in his 900th NHL game.

EDIT: here's the spear. Good thing he's wearing a cup but I bet that still hurt.

Nashville is stomping the Ducks 4-0 with 15 minutes left in the third.

If there is a bright side to all this misery just think that the ducks are almost as horribad as the flames right now.

5-1 final Preds over Ducks.

Ducks just cannot score right now. Getzlaf and Perry and eerily quiet so far this season.

I have now seen two canucks slew foods and zero calls. Two blatant trips and no calls. And two very week calls against Washington that lead to a goal. Typical canucks game.

God I hate them.

The Kings are ahead 3-0 over the Sharks and Jones is in net against his former team.

It is now 2-2 in the Canucks game as Beagle tied it for the Capitals.

3-2 Capitals, Ovie scored.

More nice picks/interference from the canucks not being called.

Holtby reminds me of Crawford. Not a star, but good enough to win a lot of games on a good team.

Caps win 3-2.

If you're into advanced Goalie analytics, he's wildly underrated

The Caps got away with Sedin mauling at the end which I thoroughly enjoyed. Also burrows got LIT up by Oshie

Vancouver: Undefeated on the road, winless at home.

John Garrett at his homerific best once again claiming Holtby shook his mask off intentionally when Dorsett clearly steamrolls into him.

The mailing started after the obvious pick on Orpik. Burrows was lucky on that play, split second away from a much worse hit. It was a beauty. They lost, makes a ####ty day at work a little better.

Obvious? According to Garrett, it wasn't at all clear who was picking who. And before you go claiming he's biased, consider the fact that he gave a Capital one of the three stars in the Capitals' win.

Jeff Carter has 4 points so far and Jonas Enroth has had a great game, 4-1 Kings with about 10 minutes left.

I think he's a bit underrated as well, but until he/they win some big playoff games he won't be in that elite company. Just the way it is. I think he's like Crawford as he's a solid goalie that doesn't seem to get the recognition he deserves. Maybe this is the year.
