Damnit I almost had that one . . . 20s after the tweet was made!

This is a weird one, especially with Smid coming back. Perhaps they expect Ramo to come down to Stockton and want another D ready to go in case Smid isn't?

Kulak assigned to Heat, which is the right call. If he isn't going to play, he should be on the Heat.

Nakladal has shown he is too good for the AHL so far.

This is interesting. Would rather see him than Smid to be honest.

Great learning experience for Kulak. He'll be back.

Something is brewing, They really don't want Nakladal sitting either. Especially since he's a leader on the ice down there.

Now I'm interested. Who're they getting?

I assume that Smid and Englland alternate the 6/7 for the foreseeable future. Ideal situation until Brodie gets back. Very interested to see how Nakladal does.

Anyone who's been watching the Stockton games able to comment on Nakladal's play so far?

Could be a function of any number of things.

Trade coming, Smid back, TJ back? possible injuries...

Could also be a good ol fashioned shake up by the GM.

I liked Nakladal in camp. Hopefully he gets in, he would be better option than Smid just purely because he's played games and Smid hasn't been in a competition in forever.

Agreed, but IMO if he's not pushing for a top 4 spot, he's better off in the AHL. He needs to set his goal on Russell's roster spot.

Aren't the flames going on a eastern road trip soon? They probably want 7 d-men for the trip.

Kulak will be a good one but I think there was a shiny new toy syndrome with him with regards to posters on here.

He was decent, and showed he has an NHL future, but he was pretty much just treading water.

Some more time in the AHL will do him good. He has the potential to be an impact player and he needs to develop in the AHL.

I thought Kulak really struggled last night. Granted, it was against some elite forwards, but just about every team has a few of those.
