Gio's back, but more importantly, the Flames are back. That was a good 60 minute effort with solid goaltending. Not much more we can ask for. I'm so happy. Also drunk. baseball time

Flames win, Oilers lose big time, the Flames Homer debacle ends with another Oiltroll biting the dust. Great 24 hours to be a Flames fan.

That's the Flames we're used to right there. Great game by the guys. I got flashbacks to that LA game last year when the Flames turned their season around. Gio the guy to do it too.

Colborne - Sorry if I said bad things about you in the game thread. It was for.. motivation.
Giordano - You are god
Wideman - You had a great game tonight honestly.
Hamilton-Russell - I love this pairing
Smid and Engelland - did you guys even play in the last period? Lol.

Amazing, fanastic, brilliant. Everything(and I mean everything) that had been missing in the first 5 games was there in spades tonight. Hiller was solid and made some huge saves, solid nights from the the d-men(bar Gio). The bottom 9 forwards all came on the ice and finished their checks, made some good plays, looked fired up from the get go.

But man, did our big players step up tonight or what? Gio leading the way in a massive way, Monahan coming up big in OT, Johnny with a 2 point night. Hudler with 2 assists and a fight. So proud of them tonight. If that's the effort we see ever night, then those first 5 games will be quickly forgotten about. Huge boost of confidence for them heading into this tough road trip. Love it, what a great game of hockey.

Here's hoping that felt as good for the Flames as it felt for fans watching it. Could be the momentum swing we've been hoping for.

Dos Equis #12 for the tying goal and #13 for the winner!

Way to go boys! It starts again now.

And now I need to find a bathroom urgently.
Good night all!
