BOOM goes the dynamite!

I wonder if he clears if we'll see Hiller on there tomorrow?

The debate finally ends. Hiller it is. But the better news is that this likely means Ortio finally gets a start!

I like Ramo, but finally, a decision.

Both guys had to know that they were being given just enough rope to hang themselves with and no one took the ball and ran with it.

So now we go back to the Hiller/Ramo tandem but replace Ramo with Ortio.

Ramo is just a bit too over active in the net, and ends up out of position and giving up bad goals at bad times.... If you could combine Ramo's athletic ability with Hiller's positioning and calmness, you'd have an elite goaltender...

All in all, I'm sad to see him go, and even more so, a bit surprised it isn't Hiller getting the waive.

Should have been Hiller/Orts from the get go.

IMO Ramo has the worst rebound control of the 3. That's n glowing recommendation for Hiller mind you. But Ramo has no puck placement and poor recovery positioning. His athleticism saves him because he's an excellent scramler but boy am I ever happy this was the way the cookie crumbled.

They needed to do something different. Hiller and Ramo were both losing the goalie battle. Bring on Ortio!
