He's starting to look more comfortable each game. Looks like a solid pickup and if you believe the deadline rumours he was the player most teams were calling the Flames about so he's obviously looks good to scouts.

He did pretty damn well on the wing tonight. Could stick there, especially if Jones is out for a bit. I like the idea of him on Johnny's line, but Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler is just way too hot right now for that.

Huge battle on his first point. Didn't give up. Commented to the bar as it happened.
You can see why the calls came in.

Also, I can't bring myself to make a schlemko thread. Too nervous my iPad will autocorrect. But have to say that a friend of Russell is a friend of mine!

We'd be totally screwed if guys like Shore & Ferland didn't come in to the lineup at this stage of the season and contribute. They might just give us the boost we need to beat out one of SJ, LA, VAN or WPG for a playoff spot.
Shore looks strong on the puck in the corners and in front of the net, so suits the wing, but he's good on faceoffs as well. Great to have another versatile forward.
I could see a line of Raymond Colborne Shore being really tough to deal with. A couple of Cochrane boys & a couple of U of Denver grads. Decent chemistry, a lot of size & Raymond's good shot.

Just need to tamper our expectations a lil bit, especially how Sven episode ended. We have lots of good things happening, need to stay a bit level-headed and let the guy perform a few games before starting this thread. The game against Boston, he struggled so give it time.
It's going good, your replacement and I almost made deals couple of times but nothing. Holding onto a playoff spot so good.
How's life for you? slowing down at all?

Looked solid last night. Skates well at least. He looks like a more sturdy Jooris out there. Speaking of Jooris, I pretty much never notice him out the anymore

I really hope we don't let the waives hit the Shore. He's not an AHLer or even a Tweener IMO.

Shore and Granlund both the same problem with me. Definitely good enough for the NHL. But where do they fit in our lineup?

You have to make room, that's all. What good is a C if it hasn't got a Shore?
