Calgary is much younger than most cities.

Calgary still has a pretty outdoorsy community. Lots of people biking and running into work every day. You also have the mountains nearby. Pretty temperate winters too mean that people can actually be active year-round.

The unhealthy places are remote, cold, and poor.

And they don't attract top notch medical staff most of the time either.

Food is more expensive in remote areas. Most workers are also blue collar, and do shift work. Every small northern town has a Subway, an A&W, and if they are lucky, a Tim's. Healthy options aren't always desirable or available.

There is also probably a demographic brain drain from the country to the cities that has some sort of correlation.

I take stairs to to my 3rd floor office instead of elevator and starting to drink diet coke instead of regular coke. Doing my part.

It definitely seems like there are more active people here than a lot of other places I've been. Pretty amazing to see all the people running and biking on the pathway every day.

Dominos Pizza is 50% off if you order online right now.

What are we talking about again?

...... is located outside the delivery service boundary offered by the nearby stores. You may continue your order as carryout from one of the stores below or change your delivery address.
Maybe that's a reason why we're

2nd.

28 for Saskatoon, not bad.. not bad.. I could point out the parts of the city which are dragging us down.

PA is 101/101.. yes I believe that. Seems to me that the unhealthiest places are linked to the highest Aboriginal populations.
