I know it has been talked about but their record against the division last year was ridiculous.

Canucks: 2-1-1
Oilers: 5-0-0
Arizona; 5-0-0
Sharks: 4-1-0
Kings: 4-1-0
Ducks: 2-3-0

22-6-1

The team we are seeing this year seems to be more in line with the 23-24-6 team we were against the rest of the league last year, opposed to the team that were division conquerors.

Last year going 10-0 versus the Oilers and Coyotes was huge.

I know the Pacific is weak this year but not having those gimmes will be tough to make up.

So far, we can't equal last year's record against the Oilers or Canadiens. Everything else is still up for grabs.

We've also beat the Penguins and won every "bounceback" game so far (@ Canucks, @ Oilers, @ Capitals)

In OT, on a lucky goal, and in OT. I wouldn't put too much weight into that.

Flames aren't going to make the playoffs this year.

But that said, I bet they'll make it look close.

I feel differently..

If they turn this season around, they make the playoffs. Its more likely, this is one of the worst seasons in team history, point wise.

That said, a great development year for a lot guys and true color time for others.
