Default Lost Labradoodle in Airdrie

It's been a while since I've posted on this forum, and I apologize if this thread is inappropriate (don't see any lost dog type posts), but I am trying to reach out and see if anyone has seen this dog or can keep an eye out for Arlo. She was staying at a boarder in Airdrie while my sister was on vacation in Oregon and the boarder lost her. My sister is beside herself. I am traveling to Calgary to help look for her, but if anyone happened to see a labradoodle running near the highway/Superstore in Airdrie, please let me know. The boarder lost her the night of August 31st but we were just told she was missing yesterday.

EDIT: I should also add there is a $1000 reward if found alive.

I hope you find Arlo, she's gorgeous.

You wouldn't have any shareable social media links, would you? I'm not in town, but do know some Ardrie-ites that may have seen her. I'd be happy to spread the word that way.

ya, wow. How does the boarder not say something sooner?

I have seen people sweet the mayor and they can get the word out pretty quickly. Maybe try some Airdrie politicians?

Indeed, that may be the most distressing part of the whole situation. Had we known earlier there would have been many people out looking for her...

Yes. I am reluctant to post the name of the business online but it's well-established.

I shared it on the Facebook page for the rescue I volunteer with (Little Mutts Rescue). We have a lot of volunteers in Airdrie, so hopefully it helps. I can't believe a professional dog sitting company would lose a dog and not tell the owners immediately. Well, I can believe it, but I think it's terrible. Hope Arlo is found safe soon!

I know it is Airdrie but i have seen many re-tweets from Nenshi's twitter for lost pets. I bet a bunch of people out there follow him, may want to give it a shot?

Yep, Nenshi retweeted. I've flown in from Kelowna to help look for Arlo and plan on pounding the pavement pretty hard. I got a good lay of the land tonight near superstore in airdrie, I think we'd know if she was hit or something by now. I think she's just hiding scared somewhere.

There must be an Airdrie chat group on Facebook. Where I live anytime someone posts about a lost dog on our chat group it's generally back home very fast. It's a great way to spread a message. I don't have a dog anymore but it would have saved me a lot of searching if there had been a chat site at that time.

There are multiple sites. The post has appeared on most of them. Still no luck though, that I've seen. Beautiful dog. I hope it's found soon.
