Treliving must have taken a vacation
Really quiet of Flames front for a couple weeks now with no signings or any news other than the new arena plans which was Ken King and company. Hopefully Treliving took a 2 or 3 week vacation. With his work ethic and hours worked in the past year it is well earned and necessary!
Things are about to get really busy around here again.

I heard BT was planning a summer picnic for his vacation, but at the last minute decided not to go because he got jealous of the BPs summer menu. So the team went there instead.
But...no one told Giordano the picnic was off though, and now Gio is upset that he got stood up. And thats complicating the contract negotiations.
Meanwhile, eating at BPs made dougie hamilton homesick. So he went back to Boston, and now Ken King is there riding horses with him, trying to convince Dougie to come back to Calgary. And Ferland was suppose to accompany Ken King because he loves tea parties, but he actually thought Dougie's hometown was in Hamilton...so he ended up in the wrong city.
And now Ken King feels like Ferland stood him up, which apparently is complicating negotiations. But I think it's actually pretty irrelevent because King is no longer in charge of hockey operations.

IIRC, at the STH event in June, someone asked him how busy his summer was going to be, and he said that he promised his wife that he'd take a couple of weeks off in August. So, yes, he's probably been on vacation.
I think he said they were going to go to BC.
