Weird Science.

surgeons grew a new jaw bone in his back muscle and transplanted it to his mouth in what experts call an "ambitious" experiment

resembling a well-known experiment in which University of Massachusetts scientists grew a human ear using a mould on the back of a mouse in 1995,

I get squeemish whenever I see stuff like that. Kinda like growing a hand on oyur leg, or fingers on your neck. Reminds me of "Army of Darkness".

Scientifically significant, but creepy nonetheless.

Who is that punchy guy in your avatar? Who is creeping up behind him ready to bop him?

His Avatar is from the movie Office Space. Him and the people "creeping up behind him" are destroying a printer. Great movie if you've never seen it.

Back on topic... This is a little bit freaky hearing and seeing about scientists doing something like this. It's interesting and groundbreaking but still a bit disturbing having body parts in the wrong places....

A while back I saw a show where they were experimenting growing body parts on mice. There was a mouse walking around with a full size human ear growing on its back.

I guess this was step 2.

Step 3 will be growing organs for transplant.
