Default Best NHL players by number

I'm sure there will be some debate over a few of the choices, but overall I think it's a pretty good list. Click on the spoiler button to see the complete list:

Should Kane be ahead of Lindros for #88? If not now, when?

3 Stanley Cups, a Conn Smythe, and a Calder for Kane. A Hart and a Pearson (in a lockout shortened season) and one Stanley Cup Final appearance (where his team was swept) for Lindros.

I would think yes.

/I would also put Selanne over Ovechkin for #8 (maybe Selanne is punished because he has some great years wearing #13 for the Jets?)

David Jones should be ahead of Paul Ranger for #54.

I know Holmstrom has the Cups and you can't usurp Guy Lafleur for #10, but I'd take Pavel Bure for #96.

For others like me wondering why Brodie didn't get the nod for 66:

Stephane Richer was good but was he better than Chris Pronger for #44?

and I would put him ahead of Ovechkin. But to avoid that, we could slot him into the #13 slot.

So absolutely no one else has ever worn 92 other than Jeff ONeill?

Todd Fedoruk
Aaron Gavey
Evgeny Kuznetsov
Gabriel Landeskog
Guillaume Lefebvre
Vladimir Malakhov
Bernie Nicholls
Michael Nylander
Jeff O'Neill
Branko Radivojevic
Rick Tocchet
Tomas Vokoun

Guessing they only wore that number a handful of games.

Edit: I'd probably go with Nylander over O'Neill though.
