Default Steam Summer Sale 2015 June 11

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/05/...015-dates-leak

Our friends at IGN Russia spotted a post on Valve's official VKontakte, a social networking platform in the country, which explains the annual sale will run for those days before being followed by a successive two days of encore sales, where the best offers are once again available.

Wooohooo! My wallet is open and ready!

I didn't even think about that one. If GTA V and that new city simulator goes on sale, I'd be one happy camper.

Man Steam sales are fun.....

Tis the season for game sales.

GOG.com has begun their summer sale with new deals twice a day. A couple of standouts include:

The Witcher - $1.49 (85% off)
The Witcher 2 - $2.99 (85% off)
Jade Empire - $2.99 (80% off)
Telltale's Game of Thrones - $17.99 (40% off)
Lucasfilm Adventures pack - $16.61 (66% off) (Includes games like Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2 and Sam and Max Hit the Road)

Additionally, you can get free games once you've spent a certain amount. $1 gets you Sim City 2000, $20 Stalker Clear Sky and $50 Xenonauts. All of those prices are in USD.

Amazon is also running their summer sale. http://www.amazon.com/Game-Downloads...node=979455011

The one that popped out to me was Assassin's Creed Rogue for $12.50 which is currently $38.99 on Steam.

Humble Bundle has a solid weekly deal as well featuring Relic games. Spend roughly $7 and you'll get a great collection of strategy titles.

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War GOTY
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 + Retribution
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine
Company of Heroes Complete Edition
Company of Heroes 2 + Oberkommando West & US Forces DLC

Spend $15 and you'll also get the COH2 Ardennes Assault expansion.

The Witcher 1 and 2 for ~ $5 Canadian?

Hrmm... would I be stupid not to? Or would I be stupid to do this not having a PS4 and/or a CPU good enough to play Witcher 3?

I never played Witcher, but after seeing the commercials for Witcher 3, I grabbed it for Xbox One, and it is so fun. Great game.

Frickin awesome......

I recall when Steam first came out, people absolutely hated it. I couldn't imagine going without now.

I've been going through all my little items from TF2, trading cards etc and putting them up on the market. I'm up to $17 now, so Steam cant have my entire wallet.

gog.com is awesome with their DRM free games. I just hope they get more titles.

Also they have http://www.gog.com/game/sid_meiers_alpha_centauri and this game rules!

I had never played this series so I bought both of them when they were on sale for the same price about a month ago so that I could play through them before getting into #3, and have just started through the first. It's quite entertaining. It was a bit of a pain to get it to run with hi-res textures on Windows 8, but works now.

I have made a ridiculous amount of money from selling trading cards over the last few years. I still can't get over how much people are willing to throw at TF2 items and digital cards.

My best was selling some kind of TF2 crate for $50. Couldn't believe that someone paid that much for what probably amounted to a few hats. But it netted me 2 or 3 games during a sale so I definitely wasn't complaining

Just bought it off GOG yesterday and it seems to have a couple glitches, but mostly works fine. Didn't work at first, saying that minimum system requirements aren't met. Is that the problem you're having? I was able to fix that.
