Lease An Used Car?

Hey CP,

Just wanted to see if anyone knows - it's time for me to get a new car for the family, and have narrowed down some choices.

I want to lease as it is most beneficial to me for tax reasons, and it ends up one of the cars I am looking at, the dealer has a used one (2016 model) with 5000km on it available.

I would love to get that one as for me it is practically new, and I avoid all of the new car costs, and avoid some depreciation.

Anyone know if it is worth going after? I asked the sales guy already for finance & lease rates and he said they don't lease - would I be wasting my time pressing him?

I don't know if thier financing would handle 'used' cars...however, services like leasebusters might be a good plan B

What are you looking for, as far as vehicles? My wife is looking to maybe get rid of her lease, it's a 2014 with very low KMs.

Haha looking for very specific - looking at Hybrid Sedans - so Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, or Lexus ES300h

Talk to Jim Peplinski's Leasing, he deals with used car leasing (or, at least he used to.)
