Windows 8.1 keeps switching to tile mode

Hey CP braintrust,
Bit of a silly question but I just got a new laptop with windows 8.1 and for some reason, it randomly switches from desktop to tile mode when I'm moving the mouse across the screen.

Am I missing something here, I don't think I'm hitting any buttons, but is there some gesture that makes it switch? Am I holding the trackpad too long or something?

It's kind of driving me bonkers.

Clicking in the corners will cause the Metro interface to populate (and conversely, clicking the same corner again will bring you back to the desktop).

Install Start8 or ClassicShell and it will all go away.

It's too easy to accidentally hit one of those hot zones, especially with a laptop pad that has a scroll bar.
Classic Shell will allow you to turn off those 'hot corners' easily.

Not since Classic Shell was updated to emulate everything Start8 does

Save the $5 and upgrade to Windows 10.

Check your trackpad configuration if there is some kind of shortcut set to one of the corners. It should only go to the tiles if you hit the start button in the default configuration. Everyone will tell you they hate they tiles. They are wrong.

The tiles are awesome
