Arizona seems to be shopping the #3 pick pretty heavily and they apparently have some offers for it that they consider legit.

To my question:

Do the flames make a real offer for it that doesn't involve our #15 pick to give us 2 in the first round.

I made a thread before about offering our 3 2nd rounders for Saad but it doesn't seem feasible. Do those all or two or one get packaged around something to acquire the #3 pick? Franchise players consistently live in the top 5.

What do you think it would take?

The idea of taking a Strome at #3 and a kyller (kylington) defencemen at 15 makes me salivate.

Probably Bennett. I'd consider it for Hanifin or Provorov. I probably don't at the end of the day but that's probably the ask.

Not sure we have the assets to add to #15 to move up.

It would take one of our "untouchables" to move up to #3, I really don't think it's realistic.

However moving into the top 6-10 I think could happen.

You would consider Hanifin or Provorov in a trade for Bennett.

Rumor has it that the Jets offered their #17 and #25 overall pick, in addition to a Jets player (Burmistrov?). The asking price may be too high. Do the Flames only have the #15 pick?

No it's not that we don't have the assets it just wouldn't be worth it. It would take one of our rebuild pieces which we cannot afford to lose. The only offer they would take would probably be a deal around Bennett

We're probably looking at Brodie +.

I would consider it. If we could move the #15 for ROR and Bennett for the #3, I think we'd have the right cornerstones in place.

Brodie-Hanifin would probably be one of the league's best pairings for a decade.
