The two big questions for me; can BLM finally break through an Edmonton defense that seems to have figured out how to defend the Stamps passing game and can the Stamps secondary keep the Esks from hitting the homeroom plays in their passing game.

Something tells me the Skylar Dawson has a big game against his former team for the Stamps.

I have some issues with this lineup.

Why are we still dressing only 6 OL and the 6th guy is an actual DL? Like c'mon. Paul Swiston has been on the PR all season. Is he that bad that despite all these injuries he can't play? why is he on the team? Randy Richards showed he can take player's head off while on STs, why isn't he getting in? Against a mediocre BC front 4, we got away but against a good DL of Eskimos, this is trouble.

Fuller sits in favor of West 2 weeks in a row? C'mon DD and Huff.

Jeff Fuller is still hurting that's why he is not in the lineup. Randy Richards is an import or international so it doesn't make sense to put him in since Stamps are already starting 3 international OLine. Yes I agree that they should dress Paul Swiston as a backup OLine and leave Smith as an DLine but I think they would rather dress DL Derek Wiggan than Swiston that's why they are putting Quinn Smith as a backup OLine. Stamps just signed OL Gord Hinse on a practice roster but he might not be ready to suit in. Don't be surprised if he does though.

In the start of the season our OLine looks like this:

LT Spencer Wilson LG Edwin Harrison C Pierre Lavertu RG Dan Federkeil LT Shane Bergman. In tomorrow's game, only Spencer Wilson is suiting up and he is playing on a different position. Wow, that's sucks! I am just glad the players that replaced those injured players are playing well; otherwise we might not be in the playoffs at all. To top it off, our starting RB Jon Cornish hasn't even played for weeks now.

Glad to see Simon Charbonneau-Campeau back. Having 3 international OLine at the same time means we need to have 2 starting national receivers along with Marquay McDaniel and Eric Rogers on the field.

GO STAMPS GO!!!

I just hope DD doesn't abandon the run game early if it is struggling. Find ways to get Messam the ball (swing passes, screen passes etc.) and let him pound on some Eskimo defenders.

Haha did you ever butcher their positions.
Was supposed to be
LT Harrison
LG Bergman
C Levertu
RG Wilson
RT Federkiel

4 of the 5 got hurt.

I think this is what we'll see come out of training camp next year.

LT - Dennis*, Williams*
LG - Bergman, Craighead
C - Levertu, Lavoie
RG - Wilson, Erdos
RT - Federkiel, Estes*
* Imports

Jeff Fuller was healthy and ready to go vs BC. Huff had said the WR will be a battle and Fuller got beat out. I doubt he got hurt again.

West is average, I'd rather have Fuller in there.

Fuller is so frustrating, dude has so much potential but it just never all comes together it seems (consistently week to week I mean). That and he just seems like one of those bandaid athletes who can never go more than a few weeks without getting banged up with something.

If he really is healthy right now, I don't get the decision at all to go with West over him. Clearly Fuller's the better option IMO. Really makes me think something's still hampering him, I mean it's not like West has ever been the picture of consistency during his Stamps career either.

Even if healthy I am not sure he is the better option. If his head is right he is for sure but I am not sure I have seen someone (Arthur included) drop so many balls that hit him right in the hands that anyone of us could catch.

Fuller can make the big play but he just as often, if not more, makes the drive killing drop as well. West certainly has had issues with the drops but not at the level of Fuller.

That Stamps O-line is terrifying. I really hope Dickenson has a solid game plan -- quick hitters in the passing game and hopefully get Messam out in space (run or pass) because working inside the tackles might be tough sledding with this group.

I think the defence will need to carry this team tomorrow -- limit the big plays and get a few hits on Reilly to disrupt the passing game.

Go Stamps! Punch that ticket to Winnipeg!

Looks like a pretty nice day in Edmonton for football (Sunny skies and 5 degrees Celsius forecast for this afternoon with a breeze out of the NW at about 20 km/h).

Isn't this game supposed to be on youtube this afternoon? If so, anybody got a link? I can't find the East final anywhere.

For what it is worth, the thermometer in my car says 8 degrees and I live about 3 blocks from commonwealth stadium.

It is very windy today as well. That will play a factor.

Yeah this whole O-Line situation is probably too much to overcome with the speed and ferocity of that Eskimo front 7. One way or another that's where this game will be decided IMO.

Hope BLM can protect the ball and find a way to put up 20 or so and pray like hell the Stamps D can have a day is the likeliest formula for winning. Pretty much what they have been doing in many games all year though, so its definitely doable.

Go Stamps!

Nervous about this game, our offense has to get it going. Oh man, we just fumbled.

I'm always flabbergasted by guys who line up offside on their own goalline. There's a giant stripe on the field you dummy!
