I'm a big fan of the Fifa series. Fifa 14 manager mode was tremendous and there's some new things in 15 I'm very excited to see.
The game has more atmosphere
Also it will have all BPL stadiums and crowd chants. Awesome stuff. I'm hoping there's a lot more serie a stadium as well but this is a huge improvement.
I'm liking ea sports attention to crowd detail and the atmosphere of the game for Fifa and NHL upcoming. September will be grand.
Anyone else excite for this?

It'll be the same as every year. I'll get NHL 15 early in September and play it for a couple of weeks. Then I'll pick up Fifa 15 and never play NHL 15 again.
Well no it'll be different this year. I've finally learned my lesson and simply won't buy NHL 15. Can't wait for Fifa 15.
I'm pumped for this too. Didn't get FIFA 14 so this will be my first next gen version of the game. Really looking forward to the boost in atmosphere with all the EPL stadiums uniquely captured.
Also I agree with Ernie, FIFA has trumped NHL for replayability in recent years. Hopefully NHL sees a big step up on next gen too.

I'm not a big online game guy so for me the replayability is in the fact i can take a simply terrible team in the English system up through the divisions over numerous seasons. Scout players who end up turning into 85+ overall guys. Pro scouting for specific abilities etc. It's simply deeper than the NHL franchise.
The other aspect of things is that every positions really does play differently so if you are creating and building a pro up it actually matters where you play. The computer AI in Fifa will really exploit you at the higher levels if you stray out of position. I don't get that same feeling with NHL.
game tilt....I don't see much game tilt. I do see a game that when you change tactics it is 100% visible in the game play that the tactics have changed. So a team that is down is going to get aggressive and send more people into the box making things much more difficult as the defending team. A bad team is going to pull back into a very defensive stance and simply have a lot of bodies in the way "evening" things out.
It's still much faster paced than a real game of footie but the changes in momentum and sudden goals in Fifa 14 aren't that much different than what we watched in the World Cup.
The only remaining issue I see that is obvious right now is that speed still tips things a little too much in your favour. It's gotten much better by changing the engine so the ball isn't "attached" to the player anymore so that speedy guys with bad ball control can be easily tackled but speed still wins the day on the wings. but, I'll be honest, Fifa 14 was really the first time as a manager that I started to be forced to downgrade the importance I put on speed but it can still improve. As they continue to tweak that the play will get better and better.
So yes still very much excited for Fifa 15 even though I will be playing Fifa 14 right up to the release date and perhaps beyond...my latest team is on the verge of qualifying for the champions cup after starting out as one that was truly terrible. I'd like to complete this season and the champions cup season.

FIFA is shaping up to be rather amazing. You can now set multiple team sheets and there's a lot of added player instructions. People who have had hands on experience with it also have confirmed what EA has claimed; ai teams will now adjust based on the situation. Up by a goal late? The ai will park the bus. Down by a goal with time running out? ai will change strategy and play more aggressive. Fans in stands also know how important games are and will react accordingly. Lots to be excited about.

I could swear that this was already evident in FIFA14. The fan part, not too sure about.
Game looks amazing. Looking forward to the features they put in to replicate the excitement of the premier league. I'll be playing the crap out of FIFA this fall.

its killing me that this game isn't out yet! madden is really good and a huge improvement from last season. nhl looks like a fun game for online vs my buddies.. but fifa is where it's going to be at for playing single player complex manager mode. my favourite change too is high potential players will be grown faster if they get the chance. this drove me nuts in previous editions how slow it was to build up young players from your academy. players you scouted early on and brought up through the youth academy really could take as long as 4 or 5 seasons to be worthwhile starting 11 players. hopefully this halved.
Much happier about the improved prospect improvement. I don't mind if they still have the random modifier of whether somebody will reach their potential, but even for those who eventually do, spending multiple seasons waiting for them to become remotely viable in the starting 11 is painful.
I hope the search function in the Global Transfer Network is more robust. Being able to search by wage, years remaining on contract, scouted potential even.
Being able to save multiple team sheets alone makes this game completely worth it!
its a great addition. i really hope next season we get serie A and bundesliga added, or, at least a lot more custom stadiums. fifa is def where its at tho as far as sports gaming goes. mlb the show is pretty good too but i hate baseball so much and it feels weird to me; where as soccer translates so well to a video game.
i just read the demo isnt far off, it may be another demo and full game release sep 9th with nhl full game and fifa demo going

Can't wait for this game! I've played Fifa so much in the last few years that I'm just downloading FIFA15 through PSN so it's in my PS4 all the time. It just looks so fun to play, with the atmosphere and EPL branding and all. This is why I can't ever be bothered to be angry with EA.
The NHL15 demo is quite a disappointment to me, so I'll wait until I can find that on Kijiji for $25 or something.
SO EXCITED!
Perhaps we could form a tiny CP Fifa15 Season? 10 players, play each other twice, and keep the table on CP? We could have the tournament run for the year to accommodate everyones sched? Just an idea.

I'd be interested in playing in an online league. I have no idea how it would work but I'm interested
So me and lego both have a ps4, so I guess that's the system of choice, but if enough xbox one owners want to create a parallel league thats cool too.
i think the idea will be to create a schedule of games, a home and home series. everyone will have a certain amount of time to play the 1st home and home series, say 3 weeks or a month?
so lets just pretend the league is only:
resurrection
lego man
pimking
bingo ( just need another username)
we would have 2 weeks to all play each other once. or however long would be reasonable. then when that's done it we would then have to play each other once more but a reverse fixture, with the previous home teams being the away clubs. we would track the results online on a league table spreadsheet on cp.
best record after all the games would be league champion, and maybe we'd have a playoff for the top 4 teams for some sort of seperate league trophy like a fa cup or something.
maybe even pitch in for a cash prize? who knows. but either way could be a lot of fun.
